There is no more valuable an asset a person can have than good health. So that more people appreciate this and benefit from it, we support initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles and that raise awareness among Estonians of the importance of looking after their health and the health of their loved ones. We want to contribute to Estonia becoming a healthier place.
Supporting cancer prevention
 Since the start of 2007 ERGO has been supporting the national prevention work of the Estonian Cancer Society as one of the main sponsors of the non-profit organisation. This means that all of our policy holders are making their own contribution to the prevention of cancer in our country.
The focus of prevention in 2007 is the fight against breast cancer. The society has dedicated a concert to it, Swing duets through the years, to mark its 15th anniversary on the 4th of October in the Estonia concert hall. Profits from the concert will go to the purchase of a new mammogram bus.
The bus will travel all over the country, enabling cancer to be diagnosed in its earliest stages. Between 9000 and 10,000 women are tested using the mobile mammogram service every year. The purchase of the bus will cost almost 4 million kroons.
